The men's World Cup race was going on going on up at Beaver Creek this weekend, and though I would have loved to take off and practice my panning, I was responsible and stayed in town taking care of things that need to be done by the end of the quarter.

This is a photo of me, quite awhile ago showing off some fish that my Dad, Uncle Tom and Winjum had caught. I still get out fishing when I can. I found some good spots on a camera trip this fall that I'll have to return to with both my camera and fishing pole.

Snow

Well we had our first snow in the city over Thanksgiving weekend. It didn't get too bad down here, but some of the mountain passes did close for a little bit. I guess a few folks had to spend an extra night up there waiting to get through. I spent Sunday morning driving around dealing with people, so it was kind of nice to go to City Park and listen to the geese.

The snow is pretty much gone down here already, but that's the way it works. We have 300 days of sunshine and just don't want that many people to know about it. It's even suposed to get up to about 60 tomorrow, of course the next day will be in the 30's again. Ahhh, winter in Colorado.
